Hi! I'm Patrícia Martins, a Product Designer based in Brazil, working in enterprise software and AI-assisted prototyping. I design products that sit where business complexity meets human behavior — with a focus on clarity, usability, and keeping teams aligned. Curiosity is what keeps me going, at work and outside it.
How I got started in design
My journey to UX and product design was anything but straightforward. I began by exploring my curiosity about the natural world, first studying veterinary medicine and later biology. While both fields fascinated me, I felt something was missing—a creative spark I hadn’t yet discovered.
That spark ignited when my sister, already thriving as a UX designer, introduced me to the world of design. Inspired by her passion and the impact of thoughtful user experiences, I decided to pivot my path. By chance, I found myself immersed in design challenges, learning to blend empathy, science, and creativity—skills I’d honed in my earlier studies—into crafting intuitive digital experiences.
Today, I’m grateful for the winding road that led me here, shaping me into a designer who values both analytical thinking and human-centered innovation.
What I've been working on
Over the past 2+ years, I’ve been designing enterprise software platforms and digital products across management, consulting, healthcare, education, and AI-driven contexts. I currently work at Bridge Management Technologies (via Brainny Smart Solutions), collaborating with international teams and C-level stakeholders in Brazil, Germany, and Mexico. My work ranges from core product flows and dashboards to AI chat interfaces, patient-facing questionnaires, and design systems that support multiple product lines.
A consistent thread in my recent projects is using AI-assisted prototyping to tighten the loop between design and engineering. With Claude Code, I turn design concepts into interactive React prototypes, which accelerates validation cycles, reduces handoff friction, and makes it easier to iterate with developers in real time. I’m comfortable navigating complex B2B requirements, presenting design strategy to executives, and ensuring that what ships is both coherent for the business and intuitive for the people using it.
